The Karpaga Vinayagar Temple located at Sivananda Colony in Coimbatore is popular amongst the local devotees. The Kumbhabhishekam (temple consecration performed every 12 years) for this temple is was held on 7th February 2011.

The main priest of this temple is Shri Ganapati Sundaram Gurukkal who is also one of the consultant priests for Parihara.com. He is well qualified in Vedic rituals and performs them with sincerity. He is known for his skill in arranging beautiful decorations for the temple deities and homams.
